Progress report, 16 September 2009

• started last night (Tuesday 16 Sept) to reclaim all the track (for possible future use) from the signal area and remove the existing weather damaged boards. Other bits of track and boards in good condition will also be removed and stored pending possible further re-use
• the entrance area has been further enhanced with a proper concrete path and gravel – thanks to all those who have contributed so far
• next part of the project is to remove the concrete piers so that they can also be reused to raise the boards to the projected height.
