Barnes Junction is our new vintage test track layout.
The layout was built as a replacement for the vintage layout which was broken up when we moved premises. The layout is built as a stand alone design (i.e. not fixed to any walls!) and includes considerable storage space below the boards for club items.
The layout provides test tracks as follows:
- Twin 00 gauge switchable between 2 and 3 rail operation, also suitable for Hornby live steam
- Twin 0 gauge corse scale circuits switchable between 2 and 3 rail operation three-rail
- O gauge finescale circuit for 2 rail operation.
